Shooting shirts

This season, we decided to do something a little different with the gear our Razorback players wear to warm up in. You may have noticed some different shirts that the guys have been wearing to shoot in before certain games.

We created some shirt designs for our players to wear before particular games that either commemorate a certain holiday or emphasize a different theme that we’ve come up with for an individual game. For our game against North Texas which was the day after Veteran’s Day, our players and staff donned red, white and blue Razorbacks shirts to honor those who have served our country.

We also wore these shirts prior to our first road game at Georgia Tech to remind our team that even though we were playing on the road, that we still “give our all for Arkansas” no matter who’s court we’re playing on. (We will also wear them tonight prior to playing Austin Peay)

Please continue to stay tuned as we will continue to wear some different themed shirts throughout the rest of the season! Go Hogs!!

Today we are thrilled to announce the signing of Davonte “Devo” Davis.  Devo is a 6’4’’ home-grown guard from Jacksonville, AR.

He is ranked 97th in the country by 247 Sports, ranked 129th in the country by Rivals, and 80th in the country by ESPN. Each of them have listed him as a 4 star recruit.

He averaged 12 PPG, 4.1 RPG, 2.4 APG on the super competitive EYBL Circuit. He represented his team with great composure and poise delivering these stats among his other star-studded teammates. Even more importantly, his team competed and won at the highest level all session.

He is an elite floor general and natural leader. A truly versatile guard that can play both guard positions. Devo’s tremendous toughness and versatility will be an awesome addition to our already talented Arkansas Razorbacks squad.

We love Devo’s ability to be both a playmaker and a scorer at all three levels. He is an outstanding free throw attempt player and does a great job finishing through contact. From a defensive perspective, Devo will add plenty of length and athleticism that will lead to being able to guard multiple positions.

Our staff and our amazing fans are beyond excited for Devo to join the family, GO HOGS!
