Eric Musselman was named the 18th coach at the University of Nevada on March 26, 2015.  On May 9th, 2017, Coach Musselman signed a new five-year contract to coach the Wolf Pack through the 2021-22 season. Musselman led the Wolf Pack to its first Mountain West regular season and tournament titles this past season. The Mountain West tournament title earned Nevada its first NCAA tournament appearance in a decade. Assistant Coach
Gus is entering his second season as an assistant coach at Nevada. Gus assists in recruiting, player development, scouting, in addition, his in-depth background and success in academics has made him a great asset to our Wolf Pack program. Hays Myers enteres his second year as Director of Player Devlepoment. He joined the Wolf Pack staff in 2016 after five years as a student manager for the Louisiana State University men’s basketball team. Myers began his career at LSU under Head Coach Trent Johnson and his staff. After one year, Johnson left for TCU and Johnny Jones was hired at LSU. Myers worked for four years under Jones. Patrick Ackerman enters his second year as a Graduate Assistant. He spent one year as an assistant men’s basketball coach at Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, Virginia. At Bridgewater Ackerman recruited athletes and scouted opponents, in addition, Ackerman worked with players individually as well as monitored academics. Robert Edwards

Graduate Assistant
Robert Edwards enters his second season as a graduate assistant at the University of Nevada.  Prior to Nevada, he spent time as a student manager at the University of Nebraska. Edwards received his undergraduate degree from Nebraska in communications with a minor in coaching, in December of 2016. As a student manager he assisted with game preparations, workouts, administrative tasks as well as served as the head team manager. Edwards performs similar tasks at Nevada, as he pursues his master’s degree in justice management.

Christian Murphy enters his second year as a graduate assistant for the Pack.  Prior to joining the staff at Nevada, he was an assistant men’s basketball coach at Central College in Pella, Iowa. Kaleigh Gomes came to Nevada in April of 2014 from the University of Central Florida to join the academic staff. Overseeing more than 60 student-athletes, Gomes covers, the women’s soccer, softball, golf and men’s golf teams, helping new student-athletes enroll and current student-athletes graduate on time with successes in the classroom.
