Nevada Ranked in the Top 25 and USA Today Coaches Poll

The AP Polls were released this morning and that list contains Nevada for the first time since the 2006-07 season. The Wolf Pack have put together their best start in school history thus far going undefeated through eight games. The previous best start was 7-0 back in 2006-07 season. Prior to the 2006-07 season, the Wolf Pack had a 14-0 start before they were a Division I program. Nevada has risen into the top 25 in the Coaches Poll coming in at No. 24.

Nevada's undefeated start is highlighted by wins over Rhode Island and Davidson and four true road wins. The Wolf Pack has three players that average double digits led by Caleb Martin who is averaging 19 points per game followed by Jordan Caroline with 18.4 and Cody Martin who averages 14.1 points per game.  

Nevada has two big matchups this week as they travel to Lubbock, TX to take on the No. 24 Texas Tech on Tuesday and then will play TCU on Friday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
