Welcome to the Pack, Ehab Amin

Ehab Amin (Alexandria, Egypt) has signed to play for head coach Eric Musselman and the University of Nevada next season. Amin is a graduate transfer who led the nation in steals with 124 (3.4 per game) at Texas A&M Corpus Christi, two seasons ago.

Amin was sidelined this past year with a hip injury. In 2016-17, Amin averaged 16.9 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 2.9 assists, while being named NABC All-Region and Mid-Major All-American.

In the Southland Conference, Amin was First Team All-Conference and First Team All-Defense. Amin finished 4th in the Southland in scoring at (16.9 ppg), 5th in free-throw attempts at (4.5 FTA’s), and 13th in defensive rebounding (4.6 rpg).  

Adding a high steals player like Amin will significantly improve the Wolf Pack’s defense. Amin ranked first in the nation in steal rate (5.8%), while the Pack ranked 161st in the nation in steal rate (8.7%).
