2018 Summer Update

2018 Summer Update

With the summer coming to an end, we wanted to reflect on the progress of our team thus far. Per NCAA rules, we have 8 weeks of the summer to practice with our team. We just completed week 6 of practice. We are allowed 4 hours on the court per week and 4 hours in the weight room. We typically practice Monday-Thursday 1 hour each day, while Pack players are in the weight room every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

We have a veteran team who has done a great job of leading our freshman and transfers. They’re instilling the work ethic we want our players to have, leading by example, and doing a great job of continuing the culture we have established. Our veterans are constantly pushing our players to put extra work in, especially when our staff is traveling recruiting. The month of July our staff has been in and out of the office traveling to Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Oakland, New York and South Carolina. This is the last weekend of the live period and our staff is excited to get back and finish the summer with our team.

Our players have had the opportunity to hear great messages from former Pack stars Ramon Sessions and Luke Babbitt. Both NBA vets really preached to our guys about the amount of hard work and dedication it takes to get to the next level. The impact these talks have had on our guys has been nothing short of amazing.

Lastly, season ticket sales are through the roof and we are on pace for record numbers. Tickets are still available and operation "Sell Out Lawlor" is still on going.

Here's a summer update from Coach Muss:
