Nevada Culture

Nevada Culture

We have established a culture with our basketball program over the past 3 years and our current players are constantly adding to it. After our 83-61 win over the Pacific Tigers Friday night our players stuck around after to get a workout in.

One of them was Jazz Johnson, who played 16 minutes and had 12 points in the win. Jazz was 3 for 5 from 3pt range and 3 for 4 from the charity stripe. This type of work ethic is why Jazz has had success in his first two games as a part of the Wolf Pack. Nisre Zouzoua, who also played in the game, stayed after to get up shots.

Redshirt Sophmore's Jalen Harris and JoJo Anderson were in the gym getting shots up along with freshman Jalen Townsell, KJ Hymes and Vincent Lee.

Our players understand what it takes to be successful on a national stage and it is great to see new members of our program bought into the championship culture that we have established here at Nevada.
