Pack Headlines #SCTop10 After Win

The Pack bounced back to improve to 15-1 after defeating San Jose State 92-53 at the Lawlor Events Center last night. The game consisted of a the Pack displaying a swarming defense and high powered offense for a full 40 minutes.

After the game, our play gained national recognition as two of our plays from the game made it on SportCenter Top 10.

The high flying dunk from Jordan Caroline in transiton came in at #6 on the top 10, while Caleb Martin's monster block was the #3 play on the night.

Caroline finished the game shooting 8-12 from the field for 19 points and Martin tallied 23 off the bench after going 6-6 from 3FG in the 2nd half.

Martin, the reigning Mountain West Player of the Year, selflessly told the coaching staff he wanted to come off the bench because of his play in recent games. This speaks volumes to the leader that Caleb is and the culture that we have here at Nevada. Within our program, it is all about the team and having our best player sacrifice for the betterment of the team truly reflects the leader that he is.

To make #SCTop10 is an honor but to have two plays from the same game on the list in unbelievable. We want to thank our fans for the support on the night, as we couldn't have won that game without them. Also, we want to thank ESPN for the recognition!
