2016-17: Received the team's Cal Bowdler Most Improved Player Award … Named to C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll … Appeared in all 31 games, making eight starts … Led team in blocks with 47 for a 1.5 average, which ranked sixth in Conference USA … Third on the squad in rebounds with 149 for a 4.8 average … Averaged 14.6 minutes and 6.6 points per contest … Scored a career high 12 points versus St. John's (Nov. 25, 2016) … Hauled down a career high 13 rebounds at WKU (Jan. 7, 2017). 

2015-16: Redshirted due to NCAA transfer rules ... Named to C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll ... Earned fall semester Dean's List recognition. 

2014-15: Porter played in 30 games and earned seven starts for George Mason last season ... Averaged 3.5 points and 2.6 rebounds per game and was second on the team with 33 blocked shots ... Scored eight points against West Virginia and 11 points against College of Charleston ... Played in ODU's 75-69 win at George Mason this season, scoring five points with two rebounds.

Prep: A graduate of Potomac High School, Porter was twice named first team All-District and was a first team All-State selection as a senior ... Capped off his career being named co-Virginia 5A Player of the Year, along with teammate Randy Haynes.
